MCBA Opposes S.1981/A.2715 and S.1939 On July 11th the Board of Trustees voted to oppose S.1981/A.2715 and S.1939. S.1981/A.2715 seeks to repeal the statute establishing the right to, and the setting of, peremptory challenges. S.1939 bill seeks to extend the Medical Malpractice Liability Insurance Premium Assistance Fund and the collection of the corresponding $75 Attorney Assessment Fee for five years.
