Josh was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2000 and is an associate in the law firm of Benedict & Altman in New Brunswick. His practice is concentrated primarily in the area of criminal defense in State and Federal Courts.
Josh graduated from the University of Vermont in 1997 and received his JD from Seton Hall University Law School in 2000. Louis J.R. Kady, a Carteret Attorney, has over fifty (50) years experience in business and the practice of law. After college, Kady was employed by Fortune 500 companies including Amoco and Xerox in various marketing and management positions.
Lou graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a BA in business and economics. He received an MBA in economics from RutgersUniversity and his JD from SetonHallUniversity. Prior to law school, in the evenings, Kady served as an associate professor at BrookdaleCommunity College, teaching marketing, advertising and business law.
In 2007, Kady spearheaded the establishment of National Adoption Day in MiddlesexCounty. He serves as a Trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Foundation and regularly appears as a moderator on the Foundation’s “Law On The Line” cable TV series. Bruce was sworn in as Middlesex County Prosecutor on July 8, 2002, and was reappointed on January 14, 2008. He began his legal career in 1983 as a staff attorney for the Office of the Public Defender. After working in both the appellate and trial sections, in 1986 he became affiliated with the New Brunswick private law firm later to be known as Kelso & Kaplan. As a private attorney, Bruce represented and counseled public entities, including the Borough of Highland Park, where he was Borough Attorney from 1992 to 1994, and the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, where he served as CountyCounsel from 1994 to 2002.
Prosecutor Kaplan is a member of or has been appointed to the following organizations: Middlesex County Bar Association; Middlesex County Bar Foundation-Trustee; New Jersey State Bar Association; National District Attorney Association; New Jersey County Prosecutors’ Association; Governor’s appointment to Advisory Council to the Juvenile Justice Commission; American Conference on Diversity; Middlesex County Chiefs of Police Association; 200 Club of Middlesex County and New Jersey Crime Victim Bar Association.
Bruce was born in New York, and is a product of the public school system. He graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980 with a degree in economics with honors and then attended Rutgers, The State University School of Law, Camden, where he graduated in 1983. He has been admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.

Robert was born in Perth Amboy in February 1947. He graduated from Washington & JeffersonCollege in 1969 with a BA in History. He received his law degree in 1975 from WidenerUniversityLawSchool, where he received the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Outstanding Legal Scholarship.
He was admitted to the NJ Bar in 1976 and has maintained his office in Edison continuously since his admission to the Bar.
