The seminar will focus on:
- use of expert reports, character letters, etc.;
- Proffer sessions;
- preparation for and use of pre-indictment conferences;
- alternative sentences, i.e., residential or out-patient programs;
- how to avoid mandatory minimums;
- the role of judges in plea bargaining; and
- sentencing memorandums.
Cost to attend is $5 for Young Lawyers, Paralegals and Legal Secretaries; $10 for MCBA Members and $15 for all others. Superior Court Law Clerks are Free. Light refreshments will be provided.
